When you open your loan for the first time on a Vivlio/PocketBook, Tolino or Bookeen DIVA reader, you must first unlock it with a password. This password is provided to you by the lending platform, as an answer to a secret question.

Make sure your e-reader is connected to the internet, usually via wifi.

Tap on the desired publication to open it for the first time; you will be asked to enter the password.

Enter the answer to the secret question provided by the platform as the password; the ebook is unlocked and opens normally. You will not have to enter this password again.
You can retrieve the password for each of your loans on the platform:

at the borrowing stage, in the download screen;

at any time, in the Loans and Holds section of your profile.
